Next, make sure you have a secure storage solution for your firearm. Whether it’s a gun safe, lockbox, or trigger lock, it’s crucial to prevent unauthorized access to your gun. We’ve all heard the tragic stories of children finding unsecured firearms and accidents occurring as a result. Don’t let that happen to you – always store your gun safely.
When it comes to handling a gun, always keep your finger off the trigger until you’re ready to shoot. This is a simple but crucial rule to follow. Many accidental discharges happen because someone had their finger on the trigger when they shouldn’t have. Practice good trigger discipline at all times.
